Correct Mirror Placement
Since this is an important issue, and the front page article wasn't as in-depth as some might have liked, here's a thread to discuss different takes on "safe mirror placement."

JDM (or UK) left side mirror works great as solution to this problem. Got mine from Muz and love it. But if others drive your car, warn them "objects in mirror might be closer than they appear" because they are.

Unfortunately one solution does not suit everybody.
As carlos2000 said a great many people find the JDM Convex Driver's mirror ideal to solve their blind spot problems.
You already have a passenger convex mirror so why worry about buying another for that side of the car?
