Interesting thread.

I had a friend ask me about mugen, and I just shrugged. He pronounced it Mu (rhyming with the word 'you') and gen (sounding like 'jen'). Looking at the word I can certainly see where he got that from. But I've heard it pronounced various ways. who knows....

Bride is pronounced BRID, per a Japanese distributor I know. I'm sure any of the guys at Evolution could confirm this. Tein is pronounced TANE, as the pronunciation appeared in an ad they ran in some mags a few months back. And Mugen is of course pronounced MOOGIN, just like they say on Motor Trend... and you have to say it like they do, because those guys know JDM!
