In case I ever get pulled for my HID's, I have proof that the car came equiped with them.

 

Just show them your owners manual in the section about the lights.

Check under the trunk floor by your spare tire. Also check the glove box between the seats. If you don't see it there then probably not.

Also, I seriously doubt that the cops are going to stop you. You have a new, high end looking vehichle. They are aware that many high end vehichles have these lights. Unless you Rice out your ride, they should leave you alone.

They mainly harass civic drivers with fart mufflers and neon underneath their car.

 

I'll check today after work, I looked in the glove compartment between the seats and didn't see one... But I haven't checked by the spare tire...I hadn't really even given any thought to getting pulled over for my HID's until I read a post on here about "Hid's and cops". And in Virginia, with my luck I could see it happening to me.

 

my $0.02 says that you should order a replacement owner's manual. there's tons of good info in there.

 

I may need to borrow your 2 cents.. i'm broke after buying this s2k.. =)
