LOL, of course they're fake but how much is a little piece of aluminum anyway?

I have one of these and for $10 bux, it's worth every penny. Would you rather have the fugly black plastic one that comes with the car?

 

I don't think there is much of a way to "find out". Not exactly like buying an exhaust... it could be made in some guy's apartment, as long as it fits and says Spoon, I guess it's the same.

There's no doubt they're fake. All the auctions say they are JDM type or style, meaning replica. You need to look for authentic Mugen or whatever. I suppose the seller could blatantly lie and say it's 100% authentic. Check out Kings Motorsports and the Spoon website to see what the authentic stuff looks like.

 

They are definitely fake because the first spoon cap and the last mugen cap are the same cap with different center pieces. lol

 

I assume you havn't been in the car modding game for very long.
