A Couple Mod Questions
Im new to the s2000 mod scene, so please bear with me.
Im wondering, first of all, about intake options. Im most concerned with maintaining throttle response and also good top end gains. Is the spoon snorkel a good option? Also, is it necessary/recommended to buy the spoon filter with the snorkel? Also, would anyone suggest another intake for throttle response/top end gains?
Secondly, Ive never heard a Mugen exhaust in person, but I was playing Gran Turismo, and the Mugen s2000 sounds amazing. Is there another exhaust (perhaps cheaper) that has a similar soothing, deep tone?
Thirdly, I would like to invest in handling mods. I realize that a good set of coilovers would probably be the best option, but Im a poor college student, and I think with so much to be tinkered with, that might not be my best option. Are Koni Yellows and comptech springs effective? Does anyone know a ballpark of how much this setup would cost?
Ive searched a lot, but just looking for more direct answers to these quetions.
Your input is greatly appreciated.

Do you own an S?....
The game actually sounds pretty similar to the respective exhausts featured in bmi's s2000 exhaust catalog.
so.....Are there any other exhausts with a similar sound as the mugen?
Thanks for the help...
Allright, man. Perhaps you should read my last post. The car on the video game sounds the exact same as the one on bmi's catalog.
Dont get me wrong, Im not saying that each of those exhausts wouldn't sound different in person, but it definately gives me a pretty good idea. I really like the mellow tone of the mugen.
Thanks for being very helpful!
Still looking for input guys.
Thanks
