Default CP035's YEP....AGAIN

Hey guys,

as you all prob know by know I ordered these wheels through a dist in Miami. They have not come in yet so to be honest I'm not sure what size ; width ; offset I'm getting. I don't know if any of you have seen the August SCC Neuspeed S2K? Anyway they have those wheels on the car. Dazz just told me the article is wrong and that 17x8.5's are not offered. The correct sizes (supposedly) are 17x7.5 with a 48mm front and 17x8 with a 45mm rear.

My ? is 17x7.5 48mm front
17x8 45mm rear

Will these offsets work?

Damn, why does SCC have so many errors in their articles? They need some better editors! I was so happy after I read that article thinking I could finally get CP-035s in the stated sizes.

The offsets you mentioned should work since I was quoted those exact same sizes and offsets from The Tire Rack for a set of SSR GT-1s.

Hey All,

I just got my Racing Hart CP035's delivered to my door today. Just finished mounting em....

Here's what I got...
Front- 17x7.5 225 45 17
Rear- 17x8 245 40 17

These are the specs Racing Hart quoted for our car

The tires were mounted and balenced so i just had to slap em on the car however they were not labeled front left or front right etc so I'm not sure which goes on what side.

Any suggestions??? SHould I just take em in tom and have em balenced again??

thanks!!

Yes, pics please!

Do they have center caps? I guess they still don't have a 17x8.5".

Im workin on the pics guys... however ran into some trouble today and I'm real bummed right now. I ordered the wheels and tires from a distributor in Miami. Anyhow I mounted them last night and I'm getting alot of vibration in the steering wheel....so im driving to lunch today and some guy pulls up next to me and says my front driver side wheel is shakin bad...

I immediately took it to a tire shop and they said the wheels are fine (not bent) but the two front tires are not rounded?? something about out of limit 14lbs road force in one and 29lbs in the other. He thinks the tires are bad but also said it could be a # of other things??? What the heck is goin on.....help!!

and yes to no 17x8.5's offered.
