Just picked up black CR, serial# 75. Shorter shifts, better handling around 75 mph, and quicker steering. Sound level is also lower with hard top.

I did not know they changed the gearing isn't it the same gearing as AP2's???

I think the shift knob makes it feel like a shorter shift.

Yes, I think he means "shorter = length of the shifter" rather than "shorter gearing."

I replaced my shifter with the CR shifter. It feels shorter. I really like it.

i keep rolling around the idea of a CR or VooDoo knob. not too sure if i like the size of the knob tho
