Default CR Owners - Peak Power Indicator

For all of you that have a CR, do you pay attention to your "Peak Power Indicator"? I find myself trying to light it up on the way home form work every day.......it's not that big of a deal, but for some reason I LOVE IT

Does that mean its hard to redline on the trip home? I mean what, you just have to get up near 7600rpm or so, right?

Yes you are right, but the CR has an additional light on it's insturment panel that starts flashing "green" when the engine speed is approaching maximum power range. When the green light stays on (solid) the engine speed is at it's maximum power range.

Like I said, nothing major......just something I like to see and mess with sometimes. Just wanted to see if fellow CR owners pay attention to it.

Cheers

My 2004 has one when it hits 6K. It stays on until 8K.

Most dyno plots would probably say otherwise.
