Default CR "short throw" shifter

I was just curious. After reading through some of the "updates" on the CR, does it really have
a shorter throw shifter than a "normal" s2000. If so it would seem a pretty good deal
at $84.95 from majestic than a C's shifter for instance. Maybe someone who has a CR and
has had a normal S might chime in. Thanks in advance.

thanks bud

I've understood what countersinking in the context of fitting flathead screws into countersunk holes, but I never got how it applies to gearknobs. apparently, it allows the knob to screw further down the stick so it mounts lower (or that's my understanding, at least).

thanks guys, you were super helpful
