Boy, your movie sure brought back some memories. My sister had a brand new '59 white/red bugeye that was the first sportscar in our family. My dad bought it for her because she promised she wouldn't get married. Well, she broke her promise, and dad presented her and the groom with the payment book on their wedding day. The Sprite is long gone; the marriage has produced two children (grown and gone) and is still going strong.
