Default Cruise Control

I fully realize that some S2K owners don't know they have cruise control on their car and that their steering wheel only passes the straight ahead position briefly while linking turns. However, on occasion, I find myself on a local highway and set the CC to 72 MPH for awhile.

My left foot has this really neat rest, but while in CC, I seem to have ergonomic issues with the right foot (leg). There doesn't seem to be any comfortable place to put my right foot without getting in the way of the throttle or brake pedal. If I bend my knee, it either gets stiff or leans against the radio cover that I have to have open until I break down and order one of Modifry's DCI units. Putting my foot beneath the pedals seems like a recipe for disaster should I need to react quickly.

At 5'9", 165, I would guess that I'm pretty average in size so it makes me wonder if anybody else experiences this issue?

as you mentioned, we either don't realize the CC existence, or simply don't remember to use it....

I just rest my foot on the floorboard and let my leg rest against the console I am 6'3" but all my height is in my torso so thats no biggie.

I have my right foot rest very lightly on gas pedal, my right knee against center console.

I stick both feet straight under the pedals and stretch out. My legs are long enough that they rest on the engine bulkhead about 8 inches beyond the pedals.

What? It's not safe to drive like that?

I have a fairly long commute on the highway. If I lightly rest my foot on the gas pedal, when I get to work I have a terrible kink in my ankle and cannot walk for a few minutes.

What I do is twist my foot over so I'm resting on the outside of my foot and place it slightly back of the space between the gas and the brake pedals. I cannot put my foot there sole side down because my leg is just a little too long and I bang into the steering wheel. My leg is too thick to fit between the steering wheel and the center console.
I drive with the seat almost as far back as it will go so there is a bit of space between the pedals and the seat.

Don't try resting your foot on its side in heavy traffic, because it takes longer to reach the brake than if you were lightly resting on the gas pedal.
