Cruise Control Dont work

Default Cruise Control Dont work

i was wondering what can make your cruise control not work...i press the cruise control button down so it lights up..but it still wont engage after setting it on the steering wheel...my SRS light is on so i was wondering if that is why it wont come on...anyone have any ideas on what i can do to fix it so i dont have to pay a arm and a leg at honda...

Any idea why your SRS light is on?


Have you checked anything out or did you come straight here?


Look at the fuse box first. (and by look I mean check the fuses, not just look at it...)

Was that car ever hit? Was everything reconnected? How long have you owned this machine?

Does the horn work?

Both the set and resume buttons pull power off the horn lead running up the steering column and return to the cruse control module.

The reason I ask about the horn:

The cable reel under the steering wheel passes the Air bag, horn and cruse control leads. You might have some bad or worn connections in the reel.

ya i was in a accident awhile ago..my airbag didnt deploy..not sure if that is why the srs light is on..someoen told me when u discconect the seatbelts can make it come on..and i did do that before...but funny u should mention the thing about the horn..just recently past month or so..my horn is not working 90percent of the time..most of the time it hasn't been but it does occasionally..i will look at the fuses soemtime today..get my car back today..it was keyed so had to get painted..i will check fuses out later tonight..and the wiring under the steering column

i have this same problem, except the car wasn't in any accident. Fuses are good. what is there to next?

check your horn relay. thats what was broken on mine.
