Cryno Diff
I think you mean cryo, like cryogenics. The link you have sent is actually a brace that Comptech manufactures for our diff, that is NOT the cryo treatment.
Cryo freezing is a hardening process in which liquid nitrogen is added to a tank to slowly drop the temp to -300. It is then slowly brought back up to room temp. Used highly in the medical field to keep surgical tools sharp, it has now progressed to many other fields like automotive parts. I have cryo treated many brake rotors and have def noticed an increase in life.

CompTech diff = strengthed

They changed the carrier bolts (they called them studs) and fitted the carrier with reinforced caps. The stock housing was mod'ed to support the new reinforcment caps.
Some some have cryo treatment their CompTech and internal parts in hopes that it should give additional strength.
I know of two member who have done this, they are both running FI. So far these diffs have seamed to hold up, but only time will tell.
Also I don't think anyone has ever posted a diff failure with just the CompTech diff housing installed either. Has anyone else?
