We picked up our new '05 last week. I was reading the Owner's Manual and it talks about a cup holders -- in the center console. Is there suppose to be some insert or something there to hold cups? Mine is just a compartment!!

Sorry to be dumb , but if there is a insert, we didn't get it.

yes there is one. u push it and it pops out. the thing u push on is on the right side of that compartment. btw, the cupholders in the s2k are worthless.

There is just a little tab between the two spots. It still doesn't help much though

I really miss the functionality of the old cup holder. The new one will only hold two drinks if they're small

I went through the drive through at In N' Out tonight, and the cup holder (with my new found tab) worked like a charm
