My spring loaded separator in my cup holder wouldn't lock itself when i press it down. I lifted up the console panel and saw a hole which fit the separator's stud when it is pressed but I saw nothing here locking the stud in. the separator and the spring work fine. Am I missing a part there?

It's either #6 or #8. But you have a nearly brand new car. Let the dealer fix it for free.
