Having bought a new s2000 2 months ago I am desperate to make it sound better!!!!

Love the engine; exhaust note is a bit tame

I've been on the forum for 7 weeks constantly trying to work out which exhausts fit the 2004 model. I understand that the hangers for the 2004 exhaust differ from those on previous models. I've spoken to various delears in the UK and tried to contact companies directly (HKS and Skunk 2 ranges) but have had no success.

A Mugen "2004 specific" exhaust is available from Kingmotorsports. Amuse do make a 2004 specific model also. As well as these two cat back systems being expensive, they are too quiet for my taste.

Can anyone advise on which other exhausts will fit the 2004 model without modification.

I'm particularly interested in something loud eg HKS hipower, Invidia or Skunk 2 systems.

 

T1R fits MY04 and a 70mm version is soon to be released. HP gains look impressive. Right now, the 63mm is available through a group buy. Check it out. It is however, a single side exit vs dual. I believe the Amuse will fit the MY04.

I have a Fujitsubo Legalis-R on my MY04. I don't know what's exactly different for the 04+ exhausts, but the Fuji seems to fit both pre-04 and 04+.

 

RS*R ExMag GT2. Fits both with no problems.
