0 wait. (excluding that the ECU was bad and I had to wait a week after signing all the papers for a new one to come from japan)

-9 or 13 month wait; let me explain:
I put a deposit down in late June 99 and had the option to take delivery in April 00 -- but I had them move me back in the list so I'd get the first 2001 model (for various reasons). I later changed my mind and expressed interest in in moving up in the list, but they said that wasn't possible (as I expected). Then a week or so later the dealer called letting my know they got allotmented one more MY2000 car and they gave me the option to get it (since I was next in line). After a little pondering I accepted and boy I am glad I did (sorry Jay Li -- he's the guy behind me in line still waiting for the MY2001)! I picked it up the first week of August and I've been loving it ever since!!
