Found this guy on Instagram @JDM_kidalex. He custom modifies hot wheels cars to your liking. Check him out if you're interested. I sent him a pic of my 911 and s2k and he matched em pretty good (the S2ks HW are all hard top, wide body kit, spoilers, etc.). Red Wine Metallic was hard to match for my 911, but he did it. He ships it to you in a clear case...fun little pieces for my desk. =)
$35 for my s2k. The normal s2k hot wheels toys are All modded a lot, so I asked to make it narrow bodied and convertible and blacked out mesh rims. $40 for my 911...he had to take a 964 and try and backdate it to look more like mine, then match my paint...then he tried to find wheels that were similar looking to my Fuchs wheels.. A little pricey but the quality is great, and it's fun
I got the Veilside S2000 from a few years ago with the full body kit. Red like my car. Also got a Maisto S2000 that looks lust like mine without my mods.
I'm new to Instagram. What is DM and how do I contact him?
Thanks,
"Old Man"
no worries..many don't do instagram. However you might want to try it out.. you can be anonymous and create a private account but still find other enthusiast pages on instagram.
After you make an account you can search for his name and "follow his page" in which you can see all his work. You can also follow several s2000 enthusiast pages. You can search for a "#s2000" in which you will find thousands of pics of people's s2000s. Pretty interesting.
A DM is a direct message. Once you find his page, you can message him..a bit like texting him, but on instagram.
