Default Custom Leater Upholstery?????

I have been considering having custom work done on the leather on my car.

I puled one of my seats today and took it to a custom shop and had them look at it. I asked what it would cost to replace the perforated portion of the seats along with the door panel perforated section. I had him price it up using two different colors installed (Grey/red).......$375/per seat and around $125-150 for the door. (I didn't have time to take that with me).

I was curious if any one else has done something like this or if others have looked into it, and what kind of prices you may have come across. $1000.00 is quite a bit of change, but I know the guy does exceptional work.

Any thoughts?

If he did a quality job on the doors for $125-$150, I would think he might get some business from other S2K owners. Quite a few people have wanted to add the red leather on the door panels.

I was quoted $1000 to completely recover both my seats. He also quoted me $250 for EACh door panel insert, but could not guarentee that the armrest would be exactly like stock. He could not match the factory color either. So I bought red seats, and traded door panels with another member.
