Nah - you need to stick with Starsky

I totally missed the "Fabian" name - I was only paying attention to the car and what was stolen. This article is also from mid-November.

A good idea would be for a member to spot the seats for sale and play dumb....If someone calls the guy a thief he may bolt. Arrange a meet to buy the seats, bring the boys, take the seats out of his ass

I don't know where they get their numbers from, but $2,600 is just a down payment on the total damage. Slashed tops and stolen seats run $8,000-$12,000 in repair/replacement costs. They are just quoting a high "street price" for the stolen goods.
There's no way those seats would fetch that much on the street. All of the ebay and other forum sales tend to go for anywhere from a few hundred dollars to just about $1000.

I'm SO sorry to hear about this man. I will definitely keep checking Ebay to see if anything pops up.

Every Honda related forum should be notified. Then every ricer in the nation will have some idea. Those seats will be hard to miss and duplicate, so wherever they pop up hopefully something can be done to get these a-holes!
