Thumbs up Cutting 04 bumper

is it true with the invidia exhaust on a 04, that you half to cut the bumper... Need help because sent money off and exhaust doesn't work, so what exhaust would you recommend for the 04 if it doesn't work, around the same price.

I believe Invidia fix this problem with longer exhaust hangers. The problem with the old units were that they would touch the bottom of the bumper and melted it. Mine didn't touch, but I drive my S really hard thus making the exhaust move around and eventually hiting the bumper and melting it slowly.

My car is now painted another color and I had the body shop cut out the burnt part. It still hits! My best bet is to find some longer rubber exhaust hangers and let the exhaust hang aleast 3 inches from the bumper.

BTW, when you first put her on and take her on a short ride, she will start to stink like rotten fish.
