I like to leave the S2000 in the garage when rain is likely, and avoid using it for short, low speed errands. If it is sitting in the garage with the top down, and the weather is too cold, I will often leave it there. The S2000 is out of the running if I am transporting my 93 year old mother, and her walker. However, with the recent increases in the price of gasoline, the choice between that big Volvo and the S2000 for any given errand has tilted more in favor of using the Garage Queen. I am already married to a Jewish American Princess; do I really also need a Garage Queen? Hmmm,. hope my wife doesn't see this post.

I have put 1200 miles on the car in the two weeks that I have had her, I get grumpy if I can't drive her every day.

Garage queen here. Five months old and with some nice weather she may hit 1500 miles by Thanksgiving.

the S2ki is a nice beater car. garage queens require somethin the S lacks, horsepower.
I don't drive much in general as I take public transportation to work every day.

However, my S2000 is considered my Garage Queen (March 2003-Present 10,500mi), and my Z06 (October 2004-Present 6,800mi) is my Daily Driver (for 9-10 months of the year, at least.) My winter beater has only gotten about 4,000mi in the nearly two years I have had it.

So that kinda blows your theory out of the water.
