Default Daily driving with a lower front

I daily drive my S2000 about 25 miles to college and back 5 days a week. I was wanting to go with T1R coilovers for a mild (~1.25 inch) drop then the J's Racing Type-S front w/ canards. Do you guys think that the lower suspension as well as bumper will cause my front to get messed up with chips/scratches? I know it will have less clearance for speed bumps and such, but I intend to be very careful with the few I encounter.
Also, does anyone know the approximate clearance the front will have? I know 1.25 inches lower than stock, but how much lower is the Type-S front (or most aftermarket bumpers) than stock?
Thanks.

more of less i have issues with driveways vs speed bumps. anytime you go up a driveway there is a chance you will scape your lip or tear the entire front end off.

i am not sure what the J is but if its fiberglass than it will crack and wont flex. if it is made of urethane then it will flex and not crack which will have some give .

just take it slow and when you can angle your car over bumps and large declines in the road. i really dont know the physics to bringing your car to an angle but i know it works thats how i was taught, thats what ive seen done from many other drivers, and unfortunately ive learned first hand what happens when you go straight down in a driveway

If you drive careful it won't get destroyed. I don't know exactly how low that front sits, but what is even more important is how far forward that front sits compared to a stock bumper. The reason is because when you angle your car, once your front wheels hit the bump or incline/decline you can start to get over it, so the sooner your tires hit the better (if that makes any sense, i'm not sure if i'm explaining myself too well here ). I have a VERY steep driveway and I am lowered on coilovers with an oem ap1 lip right now and when I angle my car and take it easy, I am able to get up and down no problem. I will actually be going with a new lower front pretty soon so you get the idea that you can go pretty low and as long as your careful and you angle your car over bumps you will be fine. BTW, my car is daily driven also, but more like 40-50 miles each day during the week.

I'm not too worried about driveways/speedbumps, as I rarely encounter them, and by getting creative can avoid the few I do have to go over at certain places .
I was more worried about the lower front getting hit by more on the highway when driving it on a daily basis.
Also, I'm going with the J's carbon fiber Type-S front. Will this be better for daily driving than the other version?

If the front is low be ready for tones of rock chips, I have an Amuese lip on stock suspension and that thing gets pretty beat up already with freeway driving.

Im dropped like 2-2 1/2 inches, with the j's half lip. Its pretty low, and its a pain in the ass. Not trying to burst your bubble, but i have to be sooo careful, and i usually scrap leaving a lot of places.

I would worry about suspension travel first, honda did a damn good job on the S if you ask me. I am not convinced even after driving couple of "drop-with-spring" S2000

Don't ghetto rag your S like most honda/acura driver do, they do it on they rust bucket, but i would break into tear seeing an S scraping out at the parking lot
