Car has 2000 miles on it so I ordered a new one and will take the danaged one to the body shop and have repaired to keep for a spare.

As mentioned already, from what is visible repair will be the most cost effective way to fix it. Buying a new piece won't necessarily bring you any more joy than a simple repair because matching the paint will be the main challenge (and Silverstone isn't easy from what I've read). Fixing the old bumper for (hopefully not) future use might not be advisable because of the effects of weathering (if your car sees a lot of it then even more so). If you must have a new one then just wait on the repair to the old bumper - then the color match will be much better.

My S2000 is not a daily driver, that's why so few miles, in fact it's never been in the rain. That is why I decided to replace the lip spoiler with a new one. But I intend to keep the damaged one. Just thought I would get it repaired in the event my husband or I scrape a curb again or in the event the parts aren't made anymore.
