Default damaged rear window

when i bought my s2000 about a month ago the previous onwer told me not to put the top down if the weather is below 18 degrees Celsius or the read window could crack because the plastic needs to warm up he says ,

just yesterday it was nice a sunny out but only about 14 degrees out , now the rear window is warped a little , is this normal or did he buy a funky replacement window ?

the plastic rear windows are super funky indeed.... You're better off getting a glass window conversion with defroster
