Default The dangers of driving an S2000...

Hi all... I'm compiling a list of some of the more bizzarre things that folks have encountered while drivng their S2000s. We're looking mostly for things that have dropped/flown into your car while driving with the top down, but any fun stories are welcomed.

At this point, my personal favorite was the time two airborne fighting seagulls dropped the burrito they were sparring over right onto the face of our own Sideways! (Phil prefers to use the "drive-through" now... )

I've frequently noticed bees and wasps trying to "mate" with my Spa. (They seem to think it's the biggest queen bee they've ever seen. )They have a nasty habit of flying into the cockpit at stop lights and making themselves at home.

Time to post up... what's happened to you??!!

Nothing yet, but it something I think about everytime I pull up to a stop light...not from animals, but from @ssh0les in other cars.

I had a large piece of plastic fly off a truck in front me bounce off my A-pillar.

I had a car in front of me spit a small rock into my face... that hurt.

Spiders....... Spiders love GPW.

I can drop my top and leave the car parked and within an hour there will be a spider web from my rollbar to my windshield. I once was on the way to work, top up, half awake. I felt something move across my leg but didnt think much of it. Stopped at a stop sign and look to my left. Sitting on my window ledge was a spider the size of a grape with all eight eyes starring at me. I rolled down the window, thumped his butt out, and rolled it back up before he could climb back in. When I got to work, i was cautious.. I knew if he happened to hitch a ride , he would be pissed and may be seeking revenge.

Also bird poo. I had some slimey green nasty fall out of the sky and land right on my shift knob once. I didn't hear it fall but it was a good thing I looked before I grabbed it.

I still think T-shirt tan is the biggest danger of owning the S.

First day I bought mine... I had a bee land on my face while I was first in line at a red light. I slapped myself in the face trying to get it off, but the bee kept flying around the cabin. I finally managed to kill him milliseconds before the light turned green, and flicked him out of the car at the next red light. I bet the cars sitting next to me at that light got a kick out of it..

I'm lucky enough to not have anything fly into my car, yet. *knock on wood*
