How is it fixed on? Is it a difficult job to get it looking good?
Oh and do they have it in polished wood??
Thanks for the pics, I think it looks great .....
Hi F1 Tech and all
The brushed aluminum trim pieces come on a cardboard flat
First you clean the area you want to cover, then you heat it with a 1500 watt hair drier, then you heat the aluminum bit, remove the protective cover from the adhesive side, align it really carefully and press. There are several pieces I have no idea where the manufacturer thought would fit, and others, especially the meat cleaver shaped piece for the radio door, which I left on the flat. I really like the ones I ended up using.

Yes, that's a 7873, with Polk Audio dx 3065 separates, driven by a 325 watt (peak RMS) MTX amp, along with 3.5" Infinity reference rear speakers (thanks Lucid). All this backed by a separate Alpine amp (245 watts) driving the MTX 10" subwoofer. At first I loved it because I could hear it at highway speeds. But after living with it for a while I realized it sounded like crap. Weak mids and lows from the interior speakers and an incredibly irritating bumping percussive thumping from the subwoofer.
I went back to Circuit City, the car audio gurus listened and agreed - sounded like crap. So they put in the 787? the silver unit with blue lights, upgraded the dx3065s with the Polk/Momos (the door mounted tweeters are now surrounded by a cool looking aluminum (Ti?) ring. Finally, I'm getting the warm, rich and full sound I wanted, as well I should with a total of 570 watts (peak) and 7 speakers and after spending so much more than I ever intended to. As a matter of fact, that stereo should rub my leg and light my pipe for me.
I'll post some pix within the next week or so.
I personally really like the brushed aluminum trim pieces. They completely change the appearance of the car's single purpose functional/Spartan interior.

Hi F1 and all interested in dash kits
I checked and RM Racing is offering the same kit I have. RM Racing price is $325. I think I got mine through MG Racing for about $300 (could've been less). The packing slip from the manufacturer showed a price of $150. I can't find the packing slip.
However, I did a quick search and came up with a few kits for about $130-180. I don't know if they're the same, but they probably are. Here are some urls
http://www.autodash.com/details.lasso?sn=1596&pn=rdstr
($160)
http://www.exoticwooddash.com/honda.htm
($178)
http://www.autoanything.com/range.asp?p=wo...onda&style=flat
($130)
From the schematics they all look like they are from the same manufacturer.
Sort of gives you a bit of pause as to the markups our friends are getting for reselling other folks' parts, doesn't it?
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
