Anyone got their car repaired that was experiencing the rattle sound behind the dash board. It sounds like a loose nut or very similar to the noise U get when rewinding the cassette. It's right behind the heater controls.

I've just got this rattle too.

Anyone else?

Any fix?

Is it the passenger side sun visor? I had a rattle that I thought was in the dash, but when I put the passenger sun shade down it went away.

yes I had this problem too, but it turns out it was the sun visor. So I went to my local home improvement store and bought some small rubber feet to put on both visors... I put it on the inside edge of the airbag warning label.

You might want your dealer to check out the cover (or underneath the cover) of the passenger side airbag. My daeler said that was where my rattle was coming from, of course I didn't believe him - but to my surprise - the rattle was gone after they adjusted it - I think that was the first and only time I went in to a dealer for a rattle fix and they fixed it!!!!!

There have been many previous posts about a rattle coming from the middle of the dash near the heater control. I had this rattle and could not believe it when I discovered it was the rear view mirror and the sound was reflecting off the dash. It really sounded like it was inside the dash. The dealer replaced the mirror and I have been rattle free.

Try holding the base of the mirror next to the windshield when you hear the rattle as a diagnostic.

It's a sign....it'll go away when I replace your head unit.

Guys,
Checked all the possibilties and the rattle is still present.
It could be anything. The car will be under inspection from honda for a couple of days.
I've got a couple of faults but the car is still fun to drive.
Thanks tmkarab, I will pass this info over to the dealer.
