Default The day has finally come

This morning I went into a local dealership in va and drove away in a brand new 2003 white/tan s2k with only 16 miles on it. i was there negotiating on a price for about an 1 and half and finally went all the way down to 29k, this is below invoice! the total was 31,500 out the door. i think i got a good deal, atleast i hope so. anyways, i just had a question. is it normal for the s2k to make a weird noise when you push in the clutch to change gears, and it makes kind of like a knocking noise? it only does it for a split second, i hope you guys know what i mean.

thanks in advance

hehehahehahehaehhaehhe That is soooo funny! Reason being is because I was thinking the same thing! I guess they all do that. I took mine to my bro-in-law who is a Honda master mechanic and he said it's fine and normal. I was worried just like you. It might get louder with different oils and brand of gas you use too. I just changed my oil and put in Mobil 1 full synth with 93 oct gas and it's not as loud anymore. Weird I know. I also had a friend of mine drive it that used to have a '00 model and after he drove it he said his did the same thing. So it's cool Razor, don't worry and just enjoy the ride!!!!!!!!

And congrats on your purchase! I think you got a helluva deal!

you won't believe it, they had like 8 s2k's on the lot...i guess they wanted to get rid of it since dealers don't like having cars just sitting there and wasting space(good for me )

I'm curious as to how the price went from 29k to 31.5k. That is about an 8.7% increase! Your state & local taxes must be terrible or is there more to the story?

yeah i got raped by taxes, and they have the nerve to call the s2k a "luxury" car..com 'on its still a honda

destination was like 460, damn...

there was a 3.0% tax, but in the city i bought it from they have some weird tax that adds an additional .2%, ending with 3.2% tax.

i guess thats what i got to pay if i want a sweet machine like the s2k.
