Default Daylight Runnings lights on a 07 US?

Found and purchased a 07 Honda S2K for a friend of mine, she's picking it up this weekend in Washington State. Does the 07 US cars have daylight running lights on them?
Would be great to have them, since it's mandatory here in Canada

I believe the 07's were the first year here for the DRLs.

My 08' has them but they're not bright enough for my tastes.

I put the headlights on as a habit after I press the big Red Start button!

Yes, I purchased my 07 in Washington state new in 2007 and brought it back to Alberta without a hitch. Had to take it to my Canadian Tire in Calgary to have it inspected and show the guys that it indeed had DRL's (that was all they were concerned with - I had already converted the speedometer to km's with the "flip of the switch"). There was no problem whatsoever - no fuss no muss. Took about 10 mins and I was outa there.! Washington dealership had put together all the paperwork for me to get accross the border including RIV declaration so it was real easy. Don't know what that aspect is like when you are buying the vehicle used from an individual. Good luck. Regards

06 is the first year for DRLs. I have them in my 06, and I'm pretty sure they didn't come on the 05 models. They are barely bright at all, but I'm glad they aren't using the HIDS as DRLs.

^ Yup, 06 was the 1st year for DRL for the US cars. The DRL make the car look a little bit more aggressive in my eyes

I added yellow bulbs for the high beam, but it looks like the GM orange when in DRL mode.

I have an '08. DRLs run but the DRL is never on? I think there is one on the dash that lights up when you flip the key to electricity but when engine is running the DRL light on dash does not come one.

Is it supposed to be like this?

When you release the hand brake the DRL's should come on if the car is on. If they don't come on then the DRL light pops up on the dash to let you know that there is something wrong, most likely a blown bulb.
