Yeah, the DC header doesn't have a very good reputation on here. I would just keep your stock header instead of wasting money on that thing.

lol thats about all the imput availible on it...the DC header (race header) seems to work on cars like the rsx, seeing as engines like the k20a arent pushed to their full potential from the factory...more effort is required to get those same gains from our exhaust system, hence the higher prices on effective headers. The J's header is probably one of the better ones out, however it's over 1000. The Rick's header is a good compromise at around 700 i think, but is still a fair deal more than the DC model. Don't know how much this helps, but good luck...

For those that they the DC header for sure loses power, are you just saying that from "what you think" or do you have proof?

I've read various results with the DC, with some reporting a gain in mid range power. The gain might be little, but there is still gains.

Also the DC header is significantly lighter than the OEM header, so there is alot of weight being shaved off.

Maybe it's lighter due to the header being thinner? Our header is already tubular not cast. I just wrapped mine......$50 vs. $300 for DC to lose power...

DC header is garbage for the S2k .. which sucks because most of the time they make great products for Honda.
