You definately can get it for less than $31 (I did 3 months ago).

So you don't want to give the dealer's name ..... but tell me (yes/no) ... was the guy's name 3 letters long? B/c I, (and Payneinthe) both had problems with a 3 letter salesperson in your general area, and I'm currently putting together a letter to am honda and the dealership to complain about a number of problems, and would certainly like to know if he is still up to his tricks!!!!

Good God man, I hope it was not my shop! This is Crazy. Either way, PM me and I can get you to the right people/ phone #'s.

If it was us, (which would suck), Contact Deb LeVasser 714-890-8900, she can help you without your name. (confidential)

Our F&I guys, including me, never get involved with deals until they are finished, so I don't know what to tell ya.

Sorry either way.
Matt Piercey

Ps. FlyingWedge, its not a ploy to jack up the price, you are aware we are selling a product, we are a business, same as any other. But I do agree with you that every customer should be treated with respect. If someone made me feel stooped, I would not buy from them either.

It sounds to me like it was all part of the new-car-buying-game. This was posted over in OT, but I think it's such a fascinating read, that it may shed some light on what was going on (although it sounds like it got out of hand, just a bit): Confessions of a Car Salesman
