Debadging the front of the s2k
I was going to keep the stock badges, but the Ricks S badges grew on me....
If I wanted to spend the extra money, I would have shaved them.
The dental floss method is what I did to remove the stock badges, but it still left residue on the bumper. (I even heated it up first)
I would not just leave it bare since it will be slightly obvious that badges were there, and the fact that you would have holes

just my opinion but i feel debadging is gettin old.. just reminds me of those pos in crappy cars that want to hide their car makes.
be a proud honda owner and put it there. nothing wrong with a honda badge. it's just ppl want something different after a while. If you still really wanna go with debadging, better make up ur mind so u won't ever regret it.

Hmmm im thinking of doing this, but would not want to take my whole car to the body shop, just the bumper. But i feel it would be pretty easy to match BB.. right?
How much was it for you guys to get this done??

[QUOTE=millertown15,Oct 19 2007, 06:15 PM] LOL everyone has their own opinion. I still call it an S2000, just because I dont have a H badge on the front of it does not make my car anything less than what it is. Like I said everyone has their own opinions, I just think you should have worded yours better. "it's just ppl want something different after a while" What the hell does that have to do with shaving emblems? If you shave them off and you dont like the way it looks just stick some new ones back on.
I had the front shaved and resprayed when I put on my j's half lip. I paid $150. I also debadged the sides. I put the color matched jdm emblem on the back.
IMO it looks much cleaner. I dont think most people notice it until I point it out, it's just something us geeks notice because we look at our car all day!

boy.. bunch of emos here. I already avoided offending by saying it's MY opinion. God damn can u read? I can bash whatever I want but it's still MY opinion, if u feel proud of ur car, u shouldn't even feel offended. It's strange how you think my words were directed to you; there are plenty of debadged s2k out there. How more sensitive can u get? were u crying when there were so many ap1 vs ap2 arguments going on because you took each of ap2's opinions seriously like this? get the point of this thread clear: we're offering him ideas, and I have zero intention to bitch at your personal stuff. If my words sounded too harsh which made you butthurt then excuse me.
