Default decal girl s2000 decals

Sup guys, I just painted my calipers gold which came out real nice. I let em dry for 24 hours and thought they were dry. I attempted to put on one of the decals and it wouldnt stick when i peeled it off. And when i did it took off some paint so it looks like it wasnt completly dry.. So i resprayed it and looks like ill attempt it again in a couple days. How long did any of you guys wait before u put them on? Any tips?

All I did was put decal on caliper then hold it down really tight for a min then peel off. Looks good

Let it dry a couple days, and clean the surface with Isopropyl alcohol, before applying decals.
