I can't decide weither i want to get a hardtop first or rims + tires. what do you guys think i should get first? i was thinking the hardtop so i can have piece of mind when i park my car (more security) but it would also be nice to have a nice set of rims and tires... what do you guys think i should get first? thanks for your help.

Both of those are great mods, but I would go with the rims/tires first. What kind of wheels are you looking to get? I might tell you to get the hardtop if I don't like them.

 

i'm thinking of getting ssw/ssr professors sp1 in black with the machined/anodized lip. but i'm also in a dilemma of weither to stay with 17's or go with 18's.

Why hardtop in San Diego ? It is so nice in your area all year long, you can drive with top down day and night year-round. No hardtop option for So. Cal.

you have a good point! i like the top down and i also like the "sportyness" of the hardtop. besides, maybe i can listen to the music going past 60mph. that was another reason i was thinking of getting the wheels first before the hardtop.

 

so wait....you are thinking about a hardtop because you are worried about the security of your car where you park it all day....

....so tell me again why you want to buy expensive aftermarket rims and make your car an even bigger target??

...why not put the money towards a garage or something and not have to worry about the car?
