I don't see how this happened. I saw the video, but I feel like the S2000 didn't launch it the way it's meant to be if you're gonna drag it. If someone knows how to drive and launch the S2000 well, I just don't think the Altima could hang with it at all if the S2000 can pull off low 14's, which is feasible with good launches. My question is, why even bother racing if you're not gonna launch it from 7k+ rpms? I think we all need to go out and take some videos of S2000's spanking some new Altima's.

I saw this video before and this was already posted. The guys that ran the Altima are members of this board. We should easily beat this car, it's just a matter of who's the better driver.

This guy has a serious problem with exageration. I was at the auto-x when he showed up with some friends (not members of this board to my knowledge). Anyway, it was very obvious that his "friend" did not know what the hell he was doing. Several others from the North Texas club went up against him and did not have a problem. Don't worry about this, we have no problem taking the Altima

Too bad he didn't show up for the auto-x. No matter how you look at it, that thing is a family hauler with all season tires and cheap ass interior. Yuck...

looks like the driver of the yellow S2000 is either not pushing it, or is shifting all wrong. Oh well, I suppose if the Altima folks need that kinda kick...what ever. The new Altima is actually a pretty nice car but it sure dont give the driving experience our S2000's do.

Really, let's not be too concerned about an Altima. It's a nice car, and if we want to worry about drag racing, we bought the wrong car. I'd be happy to run with any Altima driver, say, in the Prettyboy area of Maryland, where on twisties he'd be lost in our rear view mirror in a big hurry. I don't know about you, but I didn't buy this car to race away from stop lights.
