Good head / bad block.

Depending on what you actually sell the head with it's 450-750. Just the head is about 450 and then if you add cams etc then more. The miles are getting up there a bit though so you might have to discount a little.

The block is really not worth much -- I would think a couple hundred depending on how much damage. If the crank is repairable maybe a different story.

 

Sorry to hear that. I didn't think the noise was from the valve train, but I hoped it was something less catastrophic.
