Dent Removal
My S has suffered a few dings on my side panels due to stupid/careless people in parking lots. I was watching Victory by Design today and saw a commercial for a dent removal product: Pops A Dent. Does anyone know if these things really work. It's only $20 plus $9 shipping. Sounds too good to be true??? It's seems like one of those things that if you buy it you can't return it because shipping is the same price as buying it.
It's junk; ding dong - have it done by a professional, such as Dent Wizard. Otherwise, you can add the dinger gizmo to your other toys, like the Tornado, Duralube, etc. Remember Ben Franklin's words: "A fool and his money are soon parted".

Don't try to fool with it yourself. It's not worth it. Dent Wizard charges by the door or panel. So if you have 2-3 dings on one door or panel, for example, they'll do them all for a flat fee of around $100-125. I had two dings taken out of the passenger door of my Miata by Dent Wizard and it took the guy about 15-20 minutes to do it. He actually apologized for not having to work on it longer because it's pretty much $100 whether they work on it for 20 minutes or an hour. I think my jaw dropped when he came into the waiting room and said he was done. He said he knew Miatas pretty well and laughed. I said, "I guess so!".

I must've gotten lucky cause mine worked fine.
I used it a few weeks back on the side of my Toyota Rav4 and it pulled out a dent the size of a navel orange. I saw it at Linens & Things and since they have a 30-day return policy, I thought what the heck!
Too my surprise it worked but I had to repeat the process 3 times to get it perfect. The trick is not to let the glue set too long or it will just pop off the car without gripping anything. IMO if the dent is symmetrical in size(not too deep 2" max) and it looks as if a good whack from the opposite side could knock it back out then this thing can work.
Try to find it locally (where you can return it) and test it out. I think you'll be impressed.
