Default Dents & Dings

Today I was out having a great time. It was 85* sun out you just could not ask for a better day. My wife calls me to ask if I would pick up somathing at the store. I found a spot far enough away I thought would be safe. Well I was wrong. As I was walking back to my car there was a Toyota baby hauler next to my "S" and as I got closer I could see that the baby stoller was up against my drivers door car and then to make matters even worse the woman just swung the passanger side door into my baby. She did not even turn around to see had caused any damage.

When I got there I asked her to please remove the baby stoller from the side of my door along with her door from mine. She said she would ince she got off her cell phone. At that point I almost lost it. I took the baby stoller and put it behind the van and than I slammed her door shut. Now there are 2 dents in the side of my door. I asker her what she was going to do to make restitution for the damage she caused. She looked at me roller her eyes and told her friend that she would have to call her back. She never answered me so I asked again what she was going to do to get my car fixed and all she said was that is the risk you take when you park in a public parking lot. She than got in her trashed out van and left.

I know from past experience the cops can't nor won't do anything about these types of situations. So I am now left holding the bag. I have 2 dents that when I take her in to have thefront end repainted I will hae them smooth them out. At least the paint was not damaged. I was thinking about using some ice and a heat gun to pot the dents out. Anyone ever done that before.

Anyway thanks for letting me vent and getting it out of my system. My wife feels bad and somewhat taking part of the blame.

I would have followed her home, and then burned her house down.

Try using a hairdryer for about 1 min on the dent, then take a can of compressed air (the ones you use to dust off computer components) flip it upside down to get a cold stream of C02, and let the dent pop out itself. Works like a charm. I'm done away with several minor door dents using this method!

I would have broken a tail light, something she would have had to get fixed.

Didn't work on my car

And JimmyB - I would have gotten in my car, slammed my door into her car a few times on accident, then leave.

at least you didnt get madd violent

in this situation if i was blown off like that, id probably take their stroller an sell it for the cost of repair. or just go nuts an punch their door, jump on the hood like a raging monkey lol
but i honestly take pics of the vehicles that are next to mine, plates, paint color, make and model (if they are too close)
plus i stay by my car if someone is still in theirs about to get out, so i can watch them, letting them know that i am

good thing to do is look for another sports car and park next to it, they wont bash doors.. tonight i parked next to a blue Z8 at woodmans.. damn sure they wrnt about to hit my car, as well as i wouldnt hit thiers
