Paintless dent removal can work wonders, look in your phone book and find a local dent wizard or somthing.

I just sold my Miata to buy my S. I had a "Paintless dent removal" guy I found on the Internet to come to my house to fix a small passenger door dent. In 20 minutes he was done and you couldn't tell that there had been a dent. Cost me $100 though.

I'm going to have to concur with the other two responses. I had paintless dent removal done on both doors of my Prelude (goddam inconsiderate people...how hard is it NOT to open your freaking door into another car?!), and it worked wonders. They charged me something like $95/body panel, and pulled every single dent out without having to repaint. It looked flawless when they were done. Don't ask me how they do it, it just works. Find a top notch body shop and ask them about the process. Any half decent shop will fill you in on the details. Odds are they can pull every dent in your car for only a couple hundred bucks. Most of the time, it can be done in one day. Good luck, as everyone knows what an aesthetic abomination little door dents can be!

That's why I park my car far away! I don't want to lose my temper and do something crazy.

Yah, I agree. I swore a long time ago that if I came back to my car and found a fresh door ding, I'd sit in my car and wait for the person who put it there to return to their car...then there would be a homicide. Normally, though, I park WAY far away to avoid such criminal activity. Everyone always bitches about "why the hell did you park so far away?!...." These are the people who put the dings in your doors!

i've heard it works wonders, but i've also heard that the severity of the dent and the length of time its been there can also factor into its repair result.
is this true?
