Your sarcasm was lost on me because I had no basis in fact to draw the conclusion you were aiming for

And just so GreenMarine is clear, the only options on an S2000 is color combo.

Actually, isn't the cd-changer an option? I thought I saw a few things like that detailed in the pamphlet.

I can't speak for TX but in MI if you are stopped while driving and do not have your driver's license on you -- you will be ticketed, fined, and get 3 points on your driving record. As I recall once you hit 12 points you loss your license for x period of time. Knowing your # doesn't mean squat.

As others have said, you have the same headlights as any other S2000. And, they are a pain-in-butt on rough pavement with other traffic but they are legal.

The cops were clearly pulling your chain a little but you did the right things and went along with their games. Best thing you could have done.

dlq04 - In my limited experience, Texas's inherent conservatism translates into hard punishment for crimes but a lot of laxity in areas like identification, weapons, and so forth.

Example: I only have to renew my drivers license once every 7 years and I can do it online. In Kansas, I believe it was something like once every 2 years. I wouldn't be surprised if it was okay to drive without a license in TX as long as you are licensed.

In TX driving without a license=not having a license period. Not just not having it on you.

Dateline NBC did a report on people saying Xenon lights were too bright but others said this was good since it gave the driver a better chance at seeing people outside on the street

And besides, luxury cars like BMW come with them.....No reason to pull your car for the lights
