THAT ITS 5sec TO 100 KM OR 0-60Mil?BEFORE I BOUGHT IT I HAD AT HOME THE PRE LUNCH INTERNAL TESTS OF THE S2000 COMPARED TO THE BOXTER,TT,Z3 AND THE SLK 230 KOMPRESOR.
AND ALL THE TESTS SAID THE RIGHT O-60 FOR THE OTHER CARS COS I KNOW THEM AND FOR THE THE S2000 IT SAID 5 sec.AND THE DILER HERE SELLS IT AS A 5sek CAR.
THIS IS AN INTERNAL TEST FROM HONDA JAPAN SEND FROM THE SALES MANAGER TO ALL DILERS.
AND AT THE BEGINING IT SAYS WARNING NOT FOR OUTSIDE USE AND NOT TO REVILED TO THE PRESS.
THERE ARE A LOT INTERESTING THINGS THERE LIKE HOW THEY SHOULD HANDLE THE MARKETING ASPECT AND THE CARS THEY COMPARED TO AND A BEAUTIFUL SCALE OF ALL THE ROADSTERS OUT THERE AND WHERE THEY ARE SCALED AS A LUX,SPORT,MIDDLE AND LOTS MORE.
THERE IS ONE THING THAT BOTHERS ME!
THE CAR THEY TESTED IS 240 HP AND IT SHOWED UP A 5 sek.
I DONT KNOW WHY THEY WOULD LIE OR CHANGED THE PRODUCTION CAR COS I KNOW IT ISNT A 5sec CAR.

A lot of the time people will say say the nearest whole number. Like some people will say the S2K is a 14 second car in the quarter, when it actually averages anywhere from between 13.8-14.8+. I think the official 0-60 for the S2K is 5.3, but its damned hard to get it there. I think most people can pull off a 5.7 with practice.

You're spot-on Blake. The S2K is generally a 5.5 0-60 and 14.2 car, for mere mortals at a stoplight you're looking at around 6.0 and 14.5. The best numbers I've ever seen are 5.2 and 13.8, but careful study of these numbers, how and when they were gotten, will show that the car has better numbers to post...it's just a matter of time and effort. I'm positive the car can be a 5 second flat 0-60er and 13.5 in the quarter, but those numbers are yet to be posted by a reputable source. Don't even dream of doing them on the street...lol.
