Just wondering how many of you bought it "blind".

Test drove the car ... but unlike usual car-buying experience where the test drive comes first ... we had already agreed on all the details (price, color, delivery date, etc) ... and the test drive was my actual car when it came in ...

Have fun,
Derek

I guess all of the "No, but wish I had" votes would be from the previous owners of all the 2000 mile used cars for sale...

I responded that I wouldn't buy a car without testing it first.

Let me add, I wouldn't place an ORDER for a car without testing it first.

After driving a used one that was for sale privately (at over MSRP), I went straight to the dealer and drove the owner's personal S2000 (by myself) for about an hour. When I returned, we wrote the order. It was a great way to spend half a day!

I rented one for a few days in LA before purchase. At the prices they charged, I didn't feel guilty about exploring it's "performance potential".
