00-01 about the same 'cept 01 has a clock in the radio, 00 does not
02-03 glass rear window, extra bling bits inside and out
04-05 2.2L engine (US/Canada) new wheels, new bumper design, suspension geometry changes
06-07 Don't ask or I will punch you

Not including color changes/additions.

as the years went on the car's suspension became softer and softer.
You can interpret that part as meaning they get less and less likely to spin out and dump your arse in the ditch while driving at the extremes. It also means the newer models won't beat you do death quite so bad on a rough road although my '04 model is still plenty stiff. I can't imagine how the '00-'03 models ride!

Thought this might be useful:

http://www.carpages.ca/go/roadtest/2004_ho...0_overview.aspx

There are a few things that I did not know before (maybe I missed the posts that talked about them):

1. ... the revised S2000 features upgraded brakes incorporating an ABS system that features yaw control logic

2. The electric-assist steering has been reprogrammed ...

3. Carbon-fiber synchros have also been added to smoothen out gear changes

4. Stiffened cross-members, joints and bulkheads increase torsional rigidity ...

5. ... steering rack ratio has been increase slightly to reduce high-speed nervousness

I always thought these items (especially the synchros & cross-beam members) were the same. Or was the article wrong?

okay so ill probably go with an 01 like i've been planning on doing... i've been wanting a black one with red leather interior but my brother said it was ugly .... i like it .. what do yall think?
Go 2002 for sure.

To start, Ecu! stiffer springs and softer sways, which means you handle just as well but you can feel the car hitting its limit sooner so that you wont wreck it. Leather console++++ IMO. Better stereo with tweaters(helps alot). Glass rear window with defogger, great in non-cali climates. oil jet bots this year I think were changed. all that and you get to keep the 9000 rev limit!

Tons of changes for 04 but that sounds a little out of your range, and its ever so slightly less performance oriented.

Ok, going from MY04 to 05, is that when they added vehicle stability, or was that 06? And when was that exterior temperature gauge added to the dash?
