I have some!

Here is a shot of the my dash from a few months ago. I was happy with the brightness, but I was not driving the LEDs correctly, which would cause the the LEDs to burn out after a few months of use.


A few thousand dollars later, I now have a professionally designed schematic, Bill of Materials, driver board, and components. I actually started populating the board a few days ago! I still have to hit up Radio Shack for a housing, but I should have the prototype in my car in a couple of weeks. More pics will surely follow!

Sweet. Glad you're still working on this. Sounds like it's not going to be cheap though. To offset your R&D costs, maybe you should sell the first two for $1k and sell the others really cheap

anyone have a link to there audio control modification. I remember I had it in my fvs but now I can't find it. I have an aftermarket radio and wih to make it work with the stock controls.

If you're good, you can do it yourself. I dunno about the led 'driving' issues that DJ cube mentioned, but this is my own DIM (do it myself) project. If the LEDs burn out after a few months, eh, ill just buy Art's kit when it comes out. Mine is done with all high flux leds from superbrightleds.com

Nice! I see you have the same issue with changing the color of the climate controls, though!
