Default different HID bulbs

I know that u can kind of change the hue of the light emitted by changing the type of hid bulbs to a different one, but i wonder will changing it to a different type of bulb cause any damage, perhaps long term, to the s2k's HID inverter unit.

It will NOT damage anything as long as the lightbulb is NOT more than 6000K. Any higher and it will burn out the ballast. (Eventually)

There is no difference in the ballast for high color temperature bulbs.

They just look stupid.

The only non-OEM replacement bulbs that I've seen that I like are the Philips Ultinon. No others look good, at least to me.

I have been running PIAA 6000K for almost 2 yrs and they are the nicest HID that I ever use. I have been through Philips 6000, Raybrig 5500, Bellof 5000 and Eagle Eye 8000k. The PIAA has the nicest purpleish colour mixed with bluish colour instead most other ones are just bluish.

Don't go for Eagle Eye, those bulbs are just shit cuz they melted my HID harness on my TSX in 2 months time.
