Different tire pressures
Does running my car for 2000 miles with different tire pressures have a bad effect on the car? I picked up my car mid-March ($30,260 including del charge), and racked up 2k miles the past few weeks. While I was washing the car last weekend, I decided to check the tire pressure, guess what? 4 different tires, 4 different psi.. I think its 55, 47, 51 and 45, I was so pissed at the dealer for not even knowing the correct tire pressures. Anyway, I released the air so that all tires are now 32psi (thats the recommended, right?), ride is sooo much smoother now..
So, any bad effects?
So, any bad effects?

i've never known a passenger tire to be able to take 57 psi without bursting!
isn't max. pressure something like 48 cold?
is your gauge accurate?
I let the car cool down for more than 3 hours before I took measurement. With regards to the accuracy, I tried the gauge on my friend's car (Acura TL) and it registered a 32psi. Does tire pressure change if the car is on an incline, btw?
incline will not matter. just let them cool down. re-check them. try setting them between 36 and 38lbs COLD - all the way around. its a good start to check for suspension balance on this car, IMO.
