I tried a search, but nothing came up. So here is my question.

I like to change my differential fuild before track event next week, and wonderd if you guys can tell me what is recomended for S2000. I kind of remenber someone said not to use Redline something. Is that ture?

For brake, I have a couple of ATE SuperBlue from before. Tranny, Honda's extended life tranny oil is recomended, right?

Are there anything else I should change other than engine oil?

Thanks in advance. ENZO

I put Redline 75w-90 in my dif early last summer.
They also make a shock proof gear oil it comes in a blue labeled bottle.
You can go to there website.
I think it is www.redlineoil.com

The spec calls for GL5 or GL6 so there is a broad range of stuff to choose from. I used Mobil

Thanks guys. I think I will go with Redline this time. I found a dealer in San Diego area and will stop by later to see what they have.

Thanks again.

I just bought Valvoline High Performance Conventional gear oil 75W-90. Still under 10,000 so I didn't want synthetic...plus Mobil 1 is like $9.00 a bottle.

Incubus (and anyone else who may be interested), you should read 'The Oil Journals'.. (In the 'Technical' forum FAQ section) all you ever wanted to know about lubricants for the S2000.. the 'No synthetic before 10k' applies to the motor oil in the engine only.. you can change your diff oil as soon as you like, and judging by the nasty funk that came out of my diff at 4k miles, the sooner the better. (I went with LE 607 BTW, but it never gets cold here)
