Differential problem? (I did a search, but mine MAY be a different case)

Hi, recently(actually since the beginning) I noticed that during slow corner turning there is this very faint noise coming from the back of the car. I am not sure what it is. It sounds like "grrooooooannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn", a very deep sound.

I searched the forums but most attribute failing differential to clunking noises, and I don't have that. So do you guys think I have a differential problem? Or is it just a normal characteristic of the car. My car now has 8000miles.

I have driven a lot different S2000s and every one of them has a slight groan for about half a second when at a stop turning full lock right or left, then starting forward or reverse.

I have noticed this only when I make a 180 degree U-Turn, lock to lock steering, leaving work.

Does this mean that it is normal? Maybe it is something other than the differential. I used to have a Lotus that makes the same noise occasionally but just much louder. Never got around to finding out what it is before I sold the car.
