Default difficulty 1-10 install front lip/side strakes

Ok......on a scale of 1-10.......10 being the most difficult, how hard is it to install the front lip and side strakes on my own?

Will I need someone to help?

I've got a deal for an 04 stock for $31,000($34,100 OTD) OR an 04 with front lip, side strakes and 3 piece spoiler for $32,500(35,750 OTD)

What should I do?.....I want to buy it TONIGHT!!!! SO BE QUICK WITH YOUR OPINIONS.....

Always cheaper to buy exterior (cosmetic things) later on.

i know it's cheaper........but is it worth the hassle of trying to install and not f-it up?......this car already has it on and it's a very clean job.....

Front lip is easy as hell....3 difficulty. I'm not so sure about the side strakes, but I know you will have to do some drilling into the panel which is always a bit sketchy.

It may be cheaper to buy them later, but the upside is that you can include them in your financing if you buy them with the car (and they should also be under warranty, which might be important in the case of the side strakes which tend to fall off).

Maybe give it some time to decide what side strakes & lip you really want. Lip was easy install though my Gear's replica lip took a little tweeking to fit.
Either way you're in good shape.

front lip is a 1 at the most... it equals fit and bolt on...
side = about a 9 since you have to drill fit and if you mess up that's more money outs

They both=1. Just makes sure you measure properly and make a templet. cuts down on time and ensures that the holes are perfect. I used poster board to draw out and fit my templet.

All you need for the front lip is:

1. The proper hardware (available at Honda)
2. A brain

Good luck!
